Easter holiday FUN! - A day full of creativity, self expression, movement and mindfulness techniques. Led by Brigit, Specialist SEN Art & Design teacher/Yoga Instructor and Dan Buck-Joyce, Skateboarder and Artist.
This space is about enjoying time offline, being creative and interacting. In this taster session we are offering a discount code so it is just £10 to cover materials. This discounted day is in view of running regular summer holiday sessions.
Who is this for?
Suitable for girls and boys 7-14 yrs old. This will be a chance for the children to have fun in a calm and supportive environment. Movement based around storytelling to encourage explorative play and creativity. Specialist art workshop with screen printing making your own tote bag and stickers. A chance to be part of community, boost confidence and encourage imaginative minds.
What will we do?

We will be asking for feedback after the sessions to know how it went to make the days as best we can. Participants agree to this feedback to make delivery optimal.

About Brigit
Brigit is a multidisciplinary artist and wellness coach working to bring community together through learning, creativity and wellbeing. She has 25 years experience working as a set designer for fashion shoots in London along side now running a jewellery design business. Brigit facilitates creative workshops for adults and young people with SEN, autism, anxiety and mental health conditions with an emphasis on fostering emotional intelligence. Wellness clients include The Sports Trust, MIND, Kent County Council, Achieving for Children, Islington and Newham Councils, Core Arts London, Locavore Community Garden Project and Bounce Theatre. Creative clients include Adidas, Apple, Samsung, Vogue, Cartier, Wallpaper, Elle Decoration, London Transport, Converse, Asos, Swarovski and many more. She holds an enhanced DBS, up to date safeguarding training, insurance and First Aid certificate.
About Dan
Dan Buck-Joyce is a professional skateboarder who had a career in London in film and television then moved to Folkestone with his family. He created a big community whilst running Happy skate in Folkestone and put on many creative and skateboard workshops for kids and adults. He specialises in screen printing, drawing and lino cuts.
